Hi, I’m Valerie. I’m a licensed mental health counselor and EMDR-certified therapist. I help people work through anxiety, trauma, and life’s challenges so they can feel more grounded and at ease.

My approach is relaxed and down to earth. I aim to create a space where you can be yourself, without pressure or judgment. Together, we’ll look at what’s been holding you back and find practical ways to move forward.

What can I expect during our first session?

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and how I can best support you. It’s a comfortable, no-pressure conversation designed to help you feel at ease.

The sessions are between 53-60 minutes for all sessions including EMDR.

Yes, all sessions are fully virtual. You can connect from the comfort of your home using a secure and confidential video platform.

Most clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum, then adjust the frequency as they begin feeling more confident and supported in daily life.

I work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
